Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee
Our Year 3/4 classes have had a fantastic time taking part in the Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee this year! Students put their spelling knowledge and skills to the test, tackling a range of challenging words and demonstrating their ability to think carefully about sounds, letter patterns and word meanings.
The competition provided a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge themselves, build their confidence and develop a love of words and language.
We were so impressed by the enthusiasm and determination shown by our students as they worked hard to improve their spelling and compete against students from across Australia.
We are particularly proud of the number of students who progressed through to the State Finals. This is a fantastic achievement and a wonderful reflection of their hard work.
Congratulations to all of our students who participated - we are very proud of you!

Join us for a community picnic following the event. Coffee, sausage sizzle, soft drinks and baked treats will be available for purchase and proceeds will support our Tournament of Minds team representing South Australia at the International Finals in Darwin.

The Campus was full of colour and excitement last Thursday as students proudly wore their countries tradition clothes!
We had outfits from Asia, America, Australia, Africa, Greece, the Middle East, Italy, Spain, Germany, Fiji, Europe and many, many more!
Some very special guests from South Plympton Secondary School visited the Foundation to Year 6 classes, running activities including The Conga, Guess the Country and What's in the Box? to teach students about the many countries that make up our world.
Thank you to the parents for preparing and organising outfits for your children; everyone looked amazing!
