Northern Schools Appreciation Show

On 15th & 16th September, our Show Team proudly took part in the inaugural Northern Schools Appreciation Show hosted by Tenterfield High School.

Highlights from Tuesday's Meat Chook Competition:

• 2nd Heaviest Chook

• 2nd Heaviest Pen of 3 Chooks

• 2nd Best School Display

• 4th Chook of the Show

An outstanding achievement for our first outing.

Tuesday evening saw our students take on the Farmers Challenge, competing in various farm tasks against other schools with great enthusiasm.

Although we didn't bring pigs this year, Wednesday allowed us to watch the Pig competition and participate in insightful sessions on poultry and pig production.

A huge thank you to Tenterfield High School for hosting a fantastic event. We’re already excited for next year.

Marvellous Milkshakes

Our Year 7 students have been busy in the kitchen creating delicious and nutritious drinks as part of their Energising unit in Food and Agricultural Practices! They’ve been learning all about healthy drinks for teenagers and putting their knowledge into practice. Check out these fantastic milkshakes - colourful, tasty, and packed with energy. Well done, Year 7.

HSC Major Projects

Huge congratulations to our HSC Design & Technology students Alex J, Liam S, and Chelsea W on officially completing their Major Projects. 

So many hours of hard work, creativity, and dedication have gone into these outstanding works. A massive thank you to our amazing Design & Technology teacher, Mr McAuliffe, for his two years of guidance, expertise, and unwavering support throughout this journey.

Alex, Liam, and Chelsea – you should be incredibly proud of what you have created. What an inspiring way to finish Year 12.
