National Simultaneous Storytime

On Wednesday 27 May 2026, St Xavier’s joined millions of children, parents, teachers, and library lovers across Australia in reading Luna Roo — celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling and connection. The story follows the spirited kangaroo Luna and her friends as they chase their football dreams across the outback, blending action, teamwork and fun to inspire young readers. 

Year Three spent time reflecting on moments in their lives they have had to be brave. They created a bravery shield to celebrate their courageousness!

Learning in the Library

In the library this Term, Year 2 students have been practicing their information-gathering skills using books by Claire Saxby. Chromebooks have become essential research tools as the students learn to record their findings digitally. It’s been wonderful to see them independently navigating Google Drive and creating their own Google Slides to showcase their learning.
