Prayer

Heavenly Father, We thank You for Catholic schools, where You help us grow in body, mind, and spirit, and where teachers and families work together for the flourishing of each child.

Lord, during Catholic Schools Week, plant Your Word like a seed in our hearts. Help us to receive it with joy, and give it deep roots so it can bear fruit even when life is hard.

Teach us to trust You. When our strength grows small, give power to the faint and renew our hope. And when the future feels uncertain, remind us that You have plans for our welfare and a future with hope.

God of peace, make our learning, our kindness, and our prayers seeds of peace and hope. Seeds that grow into a brighter tomorrow for our families and our community.

Amen.

Catholic Education Week 2026

Planting the seeds for a hope-filled future

Jesus compared the kingdom of heaven to a tiny seed that grows into something wonderful. Pope Leo XIV similarly calls us to plant "seeds of peace and hope."

For Christians, hope isn’t just a wish; it’s a confident expectation of God’s goodness that gives us the strength to keep growing, loving, and doing good, even when progress takes time.

Thankyou for being part of our Catholic Learning Community where we work together each day to support our students towards realising a hope-filled future and reaching their full potential as God has intended.
