Inquiry

This term in Inquiry, Grade 2 students will be exploring ‘Our Place in the World’. Students will investigate and reflect on their own and others cultural backgrounds. Doing so will enable students to take pride in sharing parts of their culture with their peers and improve their ability to think critically and responsively to different cultures and perspectives. This will involve:

• A range of staff members speaking and sharing their experiences of making Australia their home.
• An exhibition at the end of term to highlight and showcase artefacts from students’ cultures and homes. This will be a celebration of all we have learnt throughout this unit.
