Swim Trials 

This year our grade 4 students will have the opportunity to trial for our School swim team. Our grade 5 and 6 students have already had this opportunity at the end of last year during their swimming lessons. If there are any 5/6 students who missed the trials for any reason and would like to, they are invited also.

The TCPS swim trials will be held at Kardinia Aquatic Centre, 25 Park Cresent South Geelong, on Wednesday 21st February from 4.00pm until 5.00pm. Students will be required to arrive as close to 4.00pm as possible, changed and ready to swim. Students will then trial for the stroke they are interested in swimming. 

There are qualifying times that each student will need to swim in order to be nominated to represent our school. Each race will be 50m in length and either freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly.

Parents/guardians will need to bring their child/ren to the pool and stay with them for the duration of the trials. The cost of the trial will be $6.40, which is the cost of the pool entry. Parents will need to cover this cost.
