Which day is library day for my child?

It's always good to help your children to remember the things they need for their day at school.  Below is a list of the days each of the classes have their library borrowing time. Please supply your child with a cloth bag to carry their library books between home and school.   This helps to protect the books so those favourite titles can last many years.  

LIBRARY DAY

Foundation -  Monday

Year 1/2 -  Wednesday

Year 3/4 -  Friday

Year 5/6 DF -   Wednesday

Year 5/6 T -  Thursday

It would be wonderful if parents and carers could make a little time each week for a discussion around the library books their child has chosen.  Perhaps ask them why they chose to read that book, what was it about, did they enjoy the book and what sort of books they might like to choose next time.  

We have a wide variety of books including fiction, picture books, easy read fiction, graphic novels, information books, puzzle and joke books and many more.  If there is a particular topic of interest, we are always happy to hear from our students what books they would like in the library.
