The teachers are well and truly settled back into the school routine. Some  students have been a bit rusty and taking some time to get back into the school groove.. 

The staff and student were super excited to see Mrs Dovey return this week.  Congratulations to Fran and Jack - we hope you are settling into married life well.

This term we extend a warm welcome to Alicia Bonner into the Year 4 classroom, Alicia is a student teacher. She will be with us for 4 weeks; refining her teaching skills in the classroom.  Alicia will be supporting the students in both small groups and whole group activities. Welcome to the St. Joseph's community Alicia.

Over the holidays there were a few small changes made in the Year 4 classroom - we are super happy with the extra space in our area - Thanks Mrs Iddles for allowing the changes to happen...

SACRAMENTS: Thanks to all the parents and students who came along to the Eucharist/ Confirmation  Parent Information meeting on Wednesday night.  It was great to see so many of your faces at the meeting.  For those who couldn't make the meeting please contact the school office as there is important information that you need to know prior to the program starting.

TERM 2 INQUIRY: This term we are focusing on the History of Australia  - some  students are already learning about the explorers that discovered Australia back in to 1600's.  The teachers are expecting the students to have heaps of new knowledge about Australia's history by the end of Term 2.

SPORT DAYS: There are a few changes to our timetable this term - Year 4 are having sport on Monday this term; while Year 3 are having it on Wednesdays.
