Public Holiday Reminder

On Thursday 25th April, our school will be observing the ANZAC Day Public Holiday.

Philosophy of Learning

Last year the staff of St. Joseph's spent time reflecting on and reworking the schools 'Philosophy of Learning'. They are very proud of what they have achieved and wished to share it with you.

Senior Citizen's Club - Parking

The Cobram Senior Citizen's Club has made contact with the school with a reminder that the parking zone out the front of their facility is for Senior Citizen's Club members only.

Attendance

Our school is a wonderful family of friends who care about each other. When one of our friends is away we, staff and students alike, wonder where our friends are for the day. If your child is away without notification, as part of our attendance procedures you will receive a phone call from Tam or Kye checking in to make sure everything is ok.

ANZAC Day

As always St. Joseph's School will be showing their support of the RSL and ANZAC Day by inviting students and their families to march and join the main service on Thursday 25th April (Term 2, Week 2). Leading up to ANZAC Day, we will be selling merchandise to help raise money for returned veterans and their families.

On offer are a selection of pins/badges, pens and wrist bands ranging in price from $1-$5. If you would like to support this cause, our Catholic Identity Team leaders will be selling items before school in the first two weeks of Term 2.

Due to Cross Country our Grade 4 students will not be representing the school at the Cobram Regional Care ANZAC Day service on Thursday 2nd May as noted in last term’s newsletter. We have organised for two of our school captains to attend the service before heading to Cross Country.
