Year 10 English students are exploring the concept of who is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet. They have worked collaboratively with classmates and listened carefully to instructions and feedback from their teachers to plan and write an essay.
Further Ceramics
Using the theme of water, each student in Further Ceramics has created a pinch pot and coil pot. Terracotta clay was utilised to make these gorgeous pieces, with the glaze colours being limited to blues, greens and whites.
Journalism
The Journalism class recently embarked on a captivating project to reimagine classic movie posters. They have created these posters by drawing on unique ideas and adding their own personal touch. From the dusty landscapes of "Holes" to the dazzling world of "Barbie," and the high-speed adventure of "Cars," these students breathed new life into familiar images.
Home Workshop
Year 9 and 10 students were lucky to be visited by Mount Beauty Police this week. Topics included careers with the police, road safety, and the nature of general local policing in small communities. There was time to sit in the vehicle, check out the safety vest and ask questions too.
