A BIG Well Done to Ebony!

A huge well done to Ebony Start who swam at the Victorian State Schools Swimming Carnival at MSAC in Melbourne on the 19th of April. Ebony swam in the 100m Freestyle where she finished 7th and the 100m Butterfly where she finished 2nd, in a time of 30.98, a mere 0.1 of a second behind the winner. This is an amazing achievement to be the second fastest in the state, when you originate from a town that has a 33m swimming pool that is only open for the summer months. Congratulations Ebony, it is wonderful to see your hard work rewarded!

House Cross Country

We had a beautiful afternoon for our House Cross Country event last Friday. Once again the students from St Josephs joined us. It was great to see parents and grandparents present to cheer family members along. After a warmup lead by the house captains, everyone was straight into action.
