Recount by Aleesha:

On Wednesday the 8th of May me and the 1s and teachers went to McCrae Homestead. First we went outside. As we went to the backyard we saw possum feet because the Aboriginal people lived there first. They didn’t know how to write yet so they drew their stories.

The house was 180 years old. Nine children lived there and a servant, a teacher, her child and the Mum and the Dad. There were 14 people that lived there. It was a great day.
