Padua College Koala Habitat Tree Planting Day

Padua College has partnered with the Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation group insupport of its Koala Habitat Project and will be hosting a tree planting day on Saturday 25May 2024.Habitat loss is the key threat to koala survival on the Mornington Peninsula and PaduaCollege Tyabb Campus has been identified as an important property to contribute tocreating a wildlife corridor. By restoring Indigenous vegetation, our community canprovide the correct habitat and food needed to sustain a healthy koala population andother wildlife on the Peninsula for future generations.Students, families, staff and members of our wider community are invited to join us any timefrom 10am – 2pm to plant an indigenous tree on Saturday 25 May.
