Senior Unit Term 2 Reflection
Leader of Inclusion & Diversity
Dear Community,
Just to let you know that it has been a privilege to lead the school community in student inclusion over the past 3 and a half years. For the remainder of this year, I will be replacing Mrs Bradley in the classroom whilst she is on maternity leave. In my absence, Sharee Whiteacre, our Deputy Principal will follow up on all the day to day duties of my current role. Lill Daley, one of our experienced teachers will be returning from leave during Term 3. Lill will work three days a week facilitating the responsibilities of student inclusion and advocacy of our diverse learners and continue to support our families and teachers in this space.
Thank you all, for your trust in me and the genuine friendships, and relationships we have made over the years. I will continue to lead in this space to handover information and upskill others across the school. Lill Daley will be an incredible asset to our school community in this space. I look forward to welcoming her back next term.
Thank you everyone, Ms Alex

What is NCCD?
The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) takes place every year.
WHY IS THIS DATA BEING COLLECTED?
All schools in Australia must collect information about students with disability.
The NCCD:
• ensures that the information collected is transparent, consistent and reliable
• provides better information that improves understanding of students with disability
• allows parents, guardians, carers, teachers, principals, education authorities and government to better support students with disability.
HOW IS STUDENTS’ PRIVACY PROTECTED?
Protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all students is an essential part of the NCCD. Data is collected within each school. Personal details, such as student names or student identifiers, are not provided to federal education authorities. Learn more about privacy in the Public information notice by contacting the Principal.
