Partnerships and Pathways

We’ve reached the midpoint of 2025, and we're delighted to celebrate a major milestone: over 400 individual students from Years 7–12 have already taken part in our careers and pathways opportunities — engaging more than 1,000 times! These students have enthusiastically embraced a huge range of future-focused events and their commitment is being recognised through our exclusive Pathways Accreditation credential, helping build their personal profiles and promote their aspirations. A heartfelt thank you goes to our College families and friends, partner organisations, and generous Alumnae who continue to inspire and support our students. With Semester 2 just around the corner, there’s so much more ahead—stay tuned!

As Term 2 wrapped up, our Lunch and Learn series delivered two powerful and engaging career sessions—both led by proud Caroline Chisholm College Alumnae now excelling in their fields. Kayla Fenech (Class of 2020), now a Business Development Manager at Ray White United Group, offered students a real-world look into the dynamic world of real estate. From a breakdown of different roles in the industry to a ‘day in the life’ as a BDM, Kayla’s honest reflections and practical advice showed students just how far passion and persistence can take you. Students were also captivated by a visit from Senior Constable Steven Stopford and Constable Isabella Bird, another of our accomplished Alumnae, now proudly serving in the NSW Police Force. Their session opened students' eyes to the 200+ career pathways within policing—from General Duties and Detectives to Forensics, Highway Patrol and PolAir. They also unpacked the application and training process, shared insights into life in the force, and discussed the challenges and rewards of serving the community.

We were also delighted to welcome back Larissa Dimech (Class of 2020) for a special mentoring session with two of our aspiring pastry chefs, Rhianna and Kate. Larissa, who began her journey after graduating from CCC at TAFE NSW, studying a Certificate III in Cake and Pastry, has carved out an impressive career as a Pastry Chef—and is now taking bold steps into the world of food science and technology. In a warm and inspiring conversation, Larissa shared valuable advice and words of encouragement about entering this creative industry. She reflected on the challenges and rewards of her journey so far and spoke about the diverse career paths available. We are especially excited for Larissa as she prepares for her next big adventure: a three-month work experience trip to Europe as a 2024 Global Footprints Scholar

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Kayla, Isabella and Larissa - their stories are a powerful reminder of what’s possible—and just how many exciting futures await our students. Their passion, drive, and generosity in mentoring the next generation truly embody the spirit of sisterhood at CCC.

And finally in this edition, we recently celebrated a fantastic achievement for 22 outstanding students, graduating from the Ready Set Work program — a dynamic and practical careers series designed to prepare young people for their first steps into the workforce. Developed by Study Work Grow and led by our Pathways Coaches, the program ran from November to June during lunchtimes and covered vital topics including workplace induction, job searching, employer communication, resume writing, interview skills and peer mentoring from Year 12 students. Graduates were formally recognised at a celebratory morning tea, where they received Certificates of Achievement and Program Transcripts from our Acting Principal, Mrs Petrovski.

We’re often talking with students with aspirations to discover careers in beauty - including roles such as beauty therapy and hairdressing. If you might be interested in speaking with our students, in a Lunch and Learn or similar, to explore their passion (or know someone who would) please email us.
