From the Principal

Dear Families and Friends of St Liborius,

Welcome to Week 5 of Term 3! It’s hard to believe we are already at the halfway point of the term. What a wonderful journey of learning, growing, and celebrating we are sharing together.

Trivia Night – A Night of Fun and Connection!

We’re thrilled to share that our much-anticipated Trivia Night is just around the corner! This event which is taking place on Friday 12 September, gives us a chance to come together as a community for a night of fun and laughter. With exciting prizes on offer, it’s sure to be a fantastic evening.

A heartfelt thank you to the generous families and friends who have already donated goods and services – your support makes this event possible.

Why not gather a group of friends and book a table? If you’d prefer to come along on your own or as a small group, that’s no problem – just give the office a call and we’ll make sure you’re looked after.

Bullying. No Way! – Spreading Kindness and Respect

Last week, schools across Australia joined in recognising Bullying No Way Day. At St Liborius, we’ve chosen to extend this important message throughout this week with a variety of activities continuing. These are designed to help our students understand the impact of bullying, while also building empathy, kindness, and appreciation for one another.

As a school community, we stand strongly against bullying. We encourage our students – and our families – to always speak up and support one another whenever concerns arise. Together, we can continue to nurture a safe, respectful, and caring environment for all.

Your Voice Matters!

In recent weeks, some families may have received emails inviting you to share your thoughts and feedback with us, to inform a variety of aspects of the leadership of our school.

The first survey is part of my Principal appraisal. This process happens regularly in CESL schools and is a wonderful way for me to reflect and grow in how I serve our community. Your honest feedback is truly valued.

The second is the Catholic Education Sandhurst School Engagement Survey. This survey gathers insights from families, students, and staff on all aspects of school life. Your responses will help shape the initiatives and programs that support our students and families into the future.

Thank you for taking the time to share your voice – your input helps make our school an even better place to learn, grow, and belong.

With many blessings,

Alannah Darmody
