Early Stage 1

Last week, Kindergarten hit the ripe old age of 100 (well 100 days at school at least!). We spent last Friday acting like 100yr old grannies and grandpas, there were lots of bad backs, knees and hips at school on Friday in Kindergarten. The children enjoyed a cake and party to celebrate such a momentous occasion. Here are some photos of our Kindy grannies and grandpas. 

Stage 1 

Stage1 have had a great start to term three.

We have been sharing stories from the Bible and talking about the love God showed to others and how we can show love. We used plasticine to show what we thought love is.

In Maths we have been focusing on forming groups and problem solving. We have been using sharing mats to share amounts equally and hundreds charts to count by 2s, 5s,and 10s.
