Year 3/4

Harmonica Incursion
All Year 3/4 students will participate in a fun and interactive learning session with 'Harp's a Breeze' next Wednesday, 6 August.
Students will receive a one hour harmonica lesson and their own blues harmonica with a hard case to keep. The 'Harp’s a Breeze' team proudly offers one of the most exciting Australian school music incursions. The incursion teaches students about the complexities of their favourite little instrument, the blues harmonica.
With direct links to the Australian Curriculum, students embark on an exciting journey through harmonica-based aural and rhythmic games, and the harmonica’s simplicity allows every student to build their musicality with rapid progression.
The student's harmonicas will be named, stored at the school and used weekly in music classes until the end of the year where then they can be brought home.
Incursion details have been published on Compass. Consent and payment (subsidised by the school) is due now and not later than next Tuesday, 5 August.
