Grade 6

English
Students are continuing to read about the French Revolution in our Core Knowledge Unit. Every day, they practice their reading fluency, focusing on accuracy and pace.
At a sentence level, the students will be learning how to generate sentences containing interjections. We will continue to develop Single Paragraph Outlines (SPOs) with a topic sentence, supporting details and a concluding statement. This will be used to then write fluent paragraphs with relevant details.
