It has been fantastic to welcome all our scientists back into the Science room! Last week, students across Years 3–6 explored what it means to be a scientist and the important work scientists do. They learned that there are many different types of scientists and that not all scientists wear lab coats or work in a traditional science laboratory. To celebrate this learning, students drew themselves as scientists, showing the many ways people can be involved in science. These artworks will be displayed together as a whole Year 3–6 display on the Science classroom window, highlighting our community of young scientists.
