Welcome to 2026!

On behalf of the Ironside State School Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to all our families, staff, and students as we begin another exciting year. Whether you're a returning family or new to our community, we're so glad to have you with us.

The P&C plays an important role in strengthening connections between parents, teachers, and students. Together, we support our school through fundraising, volunteering, and sharing ideas that help enrich the learning environment for all our children.

In 2026, we're looking forward to hosting a range of events and initiatives that bring our community together and make a positive difference.

We encourage you to get involved in a way that suits you: by attending meetings, lending a hand at an event, or sharing your skills and ideas. Every contribution, big or small, helps strengthen our school community.

The P&C meets on the last Tuesday of each month during term, our first meeting on the 24th will be our AGM during which we will elect the committee members for 2026.

Parent Representatives

We're looking for Class Parent Representatives for 2026 at Ironside State School.

Parent Reps work through the P&C Association to help build strong class communities, welcome new families, support teachers, and organise class social connections.

You'll be supported by a Parent Rep Coordinator and play a meaningful role in strengthening communication and parent involvement across the school.

Spring Fair

Looking ahead, 2026 is a Spring Fair year!

As one of Ironside's biggest and most exciting community events, the Spring Fair is a massive undertaking, and we believe many hands make light work.

This year, the P&C is moving away from the "one-person-does-it-all" model. Instead, we are looking to build a collaborative organising team to share the load, spark ideas, and bring this signature event to life together.

Whether you have a specific skill to offer or just want to be part of the engine room, we'd love to hear from you.

It's the community spirit that makes the Spring Fair so special!

International Breakfast

In case you missed the update, this year's International Breakfast has moved to align with Harmony Day at the end of Term 1!

This event is a vibrant celebration of our school's incredible cultural diversity and a fantastic way to connect with the community.

We'd love for you to be a part of the magic.

We are looking for volunteers to jump in and help make this morning a success.

There is a role for everyone: -

At the Event:

Host a stall, cook a signature dish, or help serve guests.

Behind the Scenes:

Assist with ticket sorting and distribution in the weeks leading up to the big day.
