Welcome to the Koala Class!

Kitchen Garden

The Koala class enjoyed a hands-on experience in our Kitchen Garden this fortnight. Students collected eggs, picked zucchini, and grated carrots from our gardens to make delicious zucchini muffins for their friends to taste. 

Activities like cooking offer so many valuable learning opportunities: reading recipes, measuring ingredients, following directions, counting ingredients, hand eye coordination and practising turn-taking.

These experiences not only build important life skills, but also encourage teamwork, curiosity, and a sense of accomplishment. 

We can assure you, we felt accomplished when our friends in the platypus class were asking for seconds!
