Year 3 News

From Ahmed Al- Hameli, Year 3B teacher

Senior School Life

Grade 3 has had a fantastic start to the year! It has been a pleasure welcoming our students to the Senior Campus, and we are delighted with how confidently they have stepped into the new responsibilities of Senior School life.

In their very first week, students have begun attending specialist classes, settled into their new learning spaces, and consistently demonstrated our school values of RISE.

A key focus during these early days has been the establishment of strong daily routines. Students have been learning and practising Senior School expectations, including organising their learning materials, and developing positive classroom habits. These routines help create a calm, predictable learning environment and support students to take increasing responsibility for their learning. By investing time in these routines now, we are building a strong foundation that will support both wellbeing and academic success throughout the year.

Below are some photos of our Grade 3 students’ work from the first week.

They have chosen to showcase their Writer’s Notebook front covers and heart maps, which highlight the people, places, and experiences that are important to them. This work gives insight into what they want their audience to know about themselves as authors. We can’t wait to see the wonderful writing they create this term!
