Calling for Volunteers
We love welcoming parents and carers into our school as volunteers and parent helpers! Getting involved is a wonderful way to build strong connections between families and the school community.
There are many ways you can help, including support within your child's classroom, gardening and the SAK Garden Program, assisting in the library, attending camps and excursions, and helping at sporting events and school activities, such as the Prep Perceptual Motor Program (PMP).
Parent Helper Information sessions will be held on the following dates:
- Errol St Campus - Monday 9th February @ 8:45am
- Molesworth St Campus - Friday 20th February @9:00am
All volunteers must hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC). If you do not have a WWCC, please apply for one by visiting the Service Victoria website. If you already have one on file at the school, you can choose to complete the NMPS Volunteer Induction Form again by clicking the link or scanning the QR code. attached This ensures all of your current information is up to date.
Keep an eye out for upcoming events communicated via Compass or the NMPS Newsletter. When you see an event that you are interested in being a parent helper at, please contact your child's classroom teacher via Compass.
Your support makes a real difference — we’d love to have you involved!
