Year 11 Visual Art

Year 11 Visual Art IA1 Authentic Experience stimulus excursion on Thursday 3 October, walking along Enoggera Creek to the Reservoir and Brisbane Forest Park. Our artists took time out to discuss the presence of the waterway, from deep time through to contemporary abuses and attempts at restoration. They explored themes regarding the surrounding landscape, including flora and fauna, mid-century domestic architecture, aesthetics, pastiche and ephemeral lenses of light, movement, touch and smell. Their observations will inform the first investigation of the Year 12 curriculum.
