P&C Update

Mrs Erin Williams - P&C President

Happy Term 4 everybody! It’s a busy term for everyone, with Year 12 graduating, with the school’s first evening graduation ceremony. There will be an accompanying soiree for parents to celebrate together prior to the graduation with P&C volunteers serving drinks and snacks, so look out for information about that.

The P&C will also be serving refreshments at both the Senior and Junior awards ceremonies prior to the formal part of the evening, so come early and have a drink and a nibble before everyone sits down.

Our next meeting is Monday 14 October at 7:00 pm in the library. Julie Rowe will be presenting on how TGSHS is developing leadership models for teachers in other schools around Queensland, based on The Gap State High’s Time 4 on Mondays. We will also be discussing the Student Resource Scheme for next year, what the P&C will be funding next for the school and how our business units have performed in 2024. Come along and join in.

Have your Say - 2025 Events

In order to plan for an excellent 2025, we would like to seek your feedback regarding P&C events. The Gap SHS P&C holds a number of events throughout the year: International Women's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Year 7 Wine and Cheese Night.
