Spring
Over the past few weeks, we have enjoyed some moments of warmer weather, glimpses of green, the leaves growing taller and stronger on the trees and buds with different shades of pink appearing. It has been a pleasure to take in the beauty of God's creation as we enter Spring in different places around the school. In God’s amazing way of creating the world, He made plants which could survive the cold winter and dormant conditions, and emerge renewed with the change in seasons.
Similar to the landscape around us, God also made us to be able to endure through more challenging circumstances through the faith, hope and grace that He gives us. Faith in God means that we can renew our lives through Him - plant ourselves in His fertile soil, it can bring a new season and new life. This can mean us reaching out and praying to God even at times when we might prefer to be silent. It can means open His Word in thE bible, even though we might feel too busy. It can also means joining with community and being vulnerable and authentic, even when we'd rather be alone.
Even when our circumstances are challenging and we face difficult scenarios, the hope of springtime shows us that nothing can stop God’s promises for our lives. Whilst seasons of winter come, we also know that God brings new life for us.
Dear Lord, thank you for the season of Spring and the hope that it brings. Thank you for the reminder that you bring hope and renewal to our lives. We thank you that you know our 'winter' moments and walk with us in those. Thank you for the hope that you give us that new life can come out of even the most challenging circumstances. Amen.
Blessings,
