Dear Parents & Carers,

Footy Colours Day at OLHC is more than just a fun event; it’s an annual tradition that celebrates the rich footy culture we hold dear as Melburnians. This year, our students once again embraced this beloved ritual, proudly wearing their team colours and singing their club songs with passion and pride. The playground was alive with a sense of community and camaraderie that truly reflects our school spirit.

Following the lively parade, students participated in an exciting footy clinic run by Sports Star Academy. The children rotated through a variety of stations, practising their kicking and handball skills, and learning some of the fundamentals of the game. The coaches did a fantastic job engaging the students, making sure they had fun while developing their skills and understanding of the sport.

As we head into the term break, I encourage everyone to enjoy this time with family and friends. Take the opportunity to rest, recharge, and cherish these moments together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back, refreshed and ready for an exciting Term 4!

Warm regards,
