Term 4 Netball
Please see the attached Term 4 Draw – this is also available on Netball Connect.
There will be three-time slots: 8:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. each week. This term, we are trialling set times for each year level. This will enable the senior school students to be available to mentor, coach, and umpire the junior school students, which we believe is a very important part of the game.
Coaches, Team Managers, and umpires must all ensure they have linked their Working With Children Check details to the Hamilton Netball Association.
The registration link for players is now open on Netball Connect, either using the smartphone app or via the website link. Registration needs to be paid before players can take the court—please do this as soon as possible before the first game.

Rowing
The 2024-2025 Rowing Season is just around the corner, with training beginning at the start of Term Four. We have been clearing out the rowing shed, assessing and preparing boats, and planning for the season’s regattas – all we need now are our rowers! If you are interested in rowing for the college, please see the attached the Rowing Handbook with further information.
We are also holding:
- a come and try session for all students during House Sport afternoon on the last day of term, tomorrow Friday 20 September. Students can sign up through the usual House Sport sign-up and will be transported to the rowing shed and back before the end of the day.
- a parent and student information session. This will be held on Tuesday 8 October at the College Rowing Shed at 5:30pm, after the first training afternoon.
The sign-up form for the season is available here. Students can sign up any time until Friday, 11 October, which allows them to attend the come-and-try session and the information session.
We’re looking forward to another fabulous season of rowing.
With best wishes,
Gill Russell – Director of Rowing
and
Elly Dixon – Director of Sport
