Wishing Our Students the Best for the HSC!

 

As Term 4 begins, we want to take a moment to wish all of our Year 12 students the very best as they prepare for their upcoming HSC exams. This is an important time, and we are confident that all of your hard work and dedication will pay off!

To help you stay on track, here are some key dates to remember for both the HSC and UAC:

15 October

In addition to these dates, I’d like to remind our students about the fantastic scholarship opportunities available through the Country Education Foundation (CEF). If you’re planning to undertake tertiary study, an apprenticeship, or a School-Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship (SBAT), the CEF provides financial support to help you succeed. Be sure to check out their scholarship program and apply before the deadline!

As we move into Term 4, I’ll also be running a series of **careers workshops** that are open to all high school students. These workshops will cover a range of important career-related topics, such as:

- Writing a Standout Resume and Cover Letter

- How to Applications for University, TAFE and Jobs

- Exploring Different Career Options

- Applying for Tax File Number

- How to complete a Tax Return

- Conducting an interview

- Applying for a USI

- Superfunds

Students can sign up for the workshops at the AMPS staffroom. I encourage all students to take part, whether you’re in Year 10 starting to think about your future, or in Year 11 preparing for what comes next after graduation.
