Dear Families,
The spring weather is upon us. This means hats will soon be back in fashion at South Melbourne Park. Please start pulling out your hats and making sure they’re clearly labelled with names so missing hats find their owners, should they go astray. Next week we will be reminding students to wear hats for outside play. From term 4, students without hats at play time will be required to play in the shade.
As students are coming into spring, we’re seeing how everyone has stretched and grown since the beginning of the year. As you find your child’s uniform has become shorter, with more ankles or knees exposed, and you need support to purchase uniform items, please reach out to myself for P-2 or Trish for 3-6 if you need further support.

For more information, please see the attached Parentzone Brochure and email them to get on their mailing list.
Smile Squad was a government-initiative putting free dental care accessible to your children at school. In term 2 we had a successful 3-week run with Smile Schools dental program. We would like your feedback in order to know if we should run this program again next year. Please click the link to submit your response.
As this is our last newsletter for the term, we wish to thank everyone for their support and wish you all a relaxing school holidays from next Friday.
Regards,
Sam Smrekar Thompson
