9 & Under GS Champs

What an exciting way to end the season for our 9 & Under GS Champs netball team!

Matilda, Grace, and Frankie worked brilliantly in the centre court, while Amelia, Clara, and Audrey held strong in defence. Scarlett and Ariella impressed everyone with their skills in goals, and a big shoutout to Poppy for cheering us on from the sidelines!

After a hard-fought season, it was fantastic to finish on a high note, securing a 4-2 victory against SFX Jewels. It’s been wonderful to see the team grow together, celebrating the small wins while developing their skills and love for the game… all with huge smiles and plenty of energy!

Thank you too, to the families that came along every week to cheer us on and for their incredible support throughout the season.

Congratulations to Year 6 students Ashlyn and Aleah! The girls have made the Salisbury East District AFL Girls Team, playing Monday 21st, Tuesday 22nd, and Wednesday 23rd October. Well done!

Good Shepherd Wants Your Old Boots

Our school is requesting second-hand pairs of soccer/footy boots for use in our year 5/6 inter-school teams. Not all our students have the correct footwear due to not playing the sport outside of these one-off school events. Rather than them buying them, we like to provide a pair that they can borrow.

If you have any upper primary sized (yr 5/6) soccer/footy boots at home that are in useable condition, we’d be more than happy to give them a new home. 😊

Royal Life Saving SA Holiday Swim program

With the December 2024/January 2025 Summer holidays fast approaching, so is the Royal Life Saving SA's Holiday Swim Program.

Now is the time to get those last-minute enrolments in!

Online enrolments will be closing soon, and we don't want you to miss out on booking your children in for Holiday Swim!

The main aims of the program are

Teach children critical life-saving skills
Teach basic swimming skills
Equip kids with the knowledge to stay safe in, on and around the water.

PROGRAM FEES

$41.50 per child (additional pool entry fees may apply)

Higher awards from $50

LENGTH/DURATION

5 days (may vary based on location)

5yrs+ 45-minute lessons
