Senior Campus News

It’s been another wonderful fortnight at Banmira Specialist Senior School!
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for our Mother’s Day High Tea. We had a fantastic turnout, and it was such a joy to see so many happy faces and hear the laughter of mothers, carers, students, and staff as we came together to celebrate.
It was a truly special event, and we’re so grateful for the strong sense of community that occasions like this help to build.
A huge congratulations also goes to the students who attended the Soccer Gala Day!
You all demonstrated outstanding teamwork and supported one another throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of the way you represented our school and lived out our school values.
It was especially pleasing to receive such positive feedback from members of the wider community about the excellent sportsmanship you displayed throughout the event.
Well done, everyone!

Assistant Principal (Senior Campus)
Mother's Day High Tea
Scones with jam and cream, fresh fruit and activities were all happening for our beautiful High Tea. It was a lovely morning for our students to celebrate the others and special people in their lives.
Mother's Day Flower Activities 💐
In the lead-up to Mother’s Day, we were thrilled to welcome a very special guest to our Senior Campus
Josie Renato, a much-loved local florist and founder of Renato’s Florist in Shepparton, generously shared her time and talent with our students, guiding them to create their very own boxed flower arrangement to celebrate the special people in our students' lives.
Fire Rescue Victoria firefighters visit 🚒👩🚒
The second visit from Fire Rescue Victoria(FRV) was a hands-on session for our Senior Campus students.
They explored the fire trucks, learned about the tools and equipment, and operated the hoses under the guidance of the firefighters.
Thank you again to the crew from FRV Station 75 for supporting this valuable program.
Ambulance Victoria paramedics visit 🚑🩺
Keeping with our emergency services theme, our Senior Campus today welcomed two local Ambulance Victoria paramedics, Sarah and Alicia.
They shared their journey to becoming paramedics, spoke about their important roles, and gave students the chance to listen to real Triple Zero calls and explore the inside of an ambulance.
North East All Abilities Soccer Gala ⚽
On Wednesday the 7th of May, a group of our Upper Middle Years students participated in the Northeast All Abilities Soccer Gala Day in Wangaratta.
Our students played several Soccer matches against students from Cobram & District Specialist School and Wangaratta District Specialist School.
Our team played with terrific sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the day and ending up bringing home a trophy for all of their efforts. Well done to all those involved.
