Highlights:

Congratulations to our CISSA teams that completed in Week 5. St Mary's played St Andrews in our first round matches this week, and all teams competed well. 

SMCC had good wins in:

Congratulations to Adrian Leighton and Lacey Walters on their selection in the QLD U16 Hockey teams to play in the National Championships in Hobart in April. 

Last week, we had the opportunity to meet NRLW superstar, Jillaroos and QLD Maroons player Tarryn Aiken. Tarryn shared her journey and experience as an NRLW star, image can be seen below.

All students have access to the new Sports Canvas Page. This is where all students will be directed to obtain all sport information. Please ensure that you have accepted the invitation and please head to the Sports page and check it out.

Day & Time: Tuesdays Period 5 and 6

Uniform: House Shirt 

The Term 1 Sports Program is an Interhouse Sport Competition, held here at St Mary's. Please remind your child to ensure they bring a hat and water bottle. 

Students that are in the musical, are required to go to their allocated room in P6 and P7.

SENIOR SPORT SPORT: YEAR 10, 11 & 12

Day & Time: Wednesday Period 5 and 6

CISSA Teams will need to meet in the HOB at 12.45pm on competition days, we are playing Redlynch this week.

All students have been allocated to either a CISSA Team or a Sport Rotation Group. 

The weekly, Senior Sport Timetable, is found on the Sports Canvas Page; please encourage and remind your child to review Canvas at the start of every week to remain completely informed:

PAPERWORK:

Please be reminded that, if your child would like to TRIAL FOR TCS, you must complete the PENINSULA PAPERWORK before they can trial.This paperwork can be downloaded from the Sports Canvas Page, or a printed copy can be collected from the leaflet box outside the Sports Office (near the Sports Mailbox).

Please ensure you completed and sign the Peninsula Paperwork, before your child returns it to the Sports Mailbox. The Sports Department will seek the relevant internal approvals.

Please remind your child that they will need to collect their Peninsula Paperwork, two days after submitting it to the Sports Office. 

Students will need to take this paperwork to the TCS Trials (unless otherwise advised). If a digital nomination is required, parents will need to submit the form using the link/QR code provided.
