Term 1 in J09!
What a busy start to the school year we have had in Grade One! Students have been displaying our school values as they settle into their new classes and get to know their new teacher and classmates.
In J09 we have been learning about the purpose of maps and how they help us to find various locations and key landmarks. As a class, we read the book ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen and discussed the key landmarks in the story. Students then drew their own map of the route that was taken in the story.
