Year 10 News

It has been a positive start to the 2024 school year and has very quickly become a very busy Term 1 already! 

Swimming Carnival

Congratulations to the Year 10 students that participated in the Horsham College Swimming Carnival on Monday. It was a great day at the aquatic centre and students had fun participating either competitively or for a bit of fun towards the end of the warm day in the novelty events. 

Horsham College Values 

Well done to the following students who have received the most values by their teachers on SEQTA. Those students are Jacinta Klowss, Zave Purdue and Skye Lawrence. These three students have consistently displayed the College values of Care, Commitment, Collaboration and Character throughout the term by making a great start to the year in their classes, demonstrating teamwork and positive communication, showing excellent manners and having a positive attitude. We encourage year 10s to continue to show the Horsham College Values in their day-to-day schooling, teachers are always on the lookout!

These students have either put their hand up or have been nominated by their peers to be the voice of Year 10 this year. It will be their responsibility to hear feedback from you in form group on what we can do to make the college a better place to be! We look forward to working with these students with their ideas on improvement. 

Year 10 Camps

Expression of Interest forms have been SEQTA Direct Messaged to all Year 10 students. Please make sure all students complete this form by Friday 8th March whether you are planning on attending a camp or not.Absences:If your student is absent from school please contact the absence hotline on 5381 7172 or via SEQTA Engage, SEQTA DM to Courtney Scherger or Emma Hopper.
