Swimming Sports

Congratulations to the Year 12 cohort on their strong representation at Swimming Sports on Monday. It was wonderful to see many students dress up in a colourful array of costumes. Students are to be commended on the positive way they engaged in a range of swimming and novelty events.

Polo Tops and Rugby Jumpers

It is an exciting time for Year 12 students as they receive their polo tops this week. A reminder that students who haven’t paid will need to do so in the Main Office before receiving their tops.

Rugby jumpers are scheduled to arrive early Term 2, in preparation for the cooler days ahead. Please ensure that payments are finalised so that students can receive their jumpers in a timely manner.

Hats 

Year 12 students have been reminded about the need to wear hats at all times while outside during Term 1, even if only walking from the common room to the canteen. Please make sure you are setting a good example to the younger students.

Course Work and the Study Centre

Scored VCE students are to be commended on the completion of their first English SAC. Students are feeling increasingly busier as they start to sit assessments for the remainder of their subjects.

A reminder that unscored VCE students will need to complete tasks that are set by their teacher to receive an S (satisfactory result).

Students are encouraged to consider the Elevate Study Sessions that were delivered at the start of the year. It may be time to re-visit their study planner and/or self-care plan as things begin to ramp up.

A reminder that the Study Centre is a quiet place that is open after school until 4.30pm. It is also available for students to access during Student Free Days.

Drive to School forms

Year 12 is an exciting time as many students obtain their P plates. Students are reminded that they need to collect and return a ‘Drive to School’ permission form.
