Principal Message

Be Kind, Be safe, Be respectful, Be responsible, Be resilient, Be ready
Dear Families,
As we move further into Term 2, it has been wonderful to see our students settled, engaged, and making the most of their learning opportunities. There is a strong sense of community across the school, and this week offers a particularly special opportunity to come together and celebrate an important group within our community.
This Friday, we warmly invite all mothers, grandmothers, carers, and those who take on mothering roles in the lives of our students to join us for our Mother’s Day Morning. This is always a cherished occasion, and we look forward to welcoming you to share in a relaxed and joyful start to the day.
Guests will be treated to breakfast, followed by a range of activities that you can enjoy alongside your children. The morning will also include a Mother’s Day Liturgy, offering a moment of reflection and gratitude, as well as our Mother’s Day Stall, where students will have the opportunity to select a special gift.
Mothering comes in many forms, and we take this time to acknowledge and celebrate the care, guidance, patience, and love shown by all those who nurture and support our children. The impact of these relationships is profound, shaping not only who our students are today, but who they will become in the future. We are deeply grateful for the role you play in our school community.
Later that same day, our students will participate in the Cross Country Run, which will be held on the school grounds. This will be a fun and energetic event, and we encourage all students to come prepared with appropriate footwear and a positive attitude as they challenge themselves and support one another.
A gentle reminder to families regarding students bringing personal toys and possessions to school: while we understand that these items can be special and meaningful, they do come with the risk of being lost or damaged. We are fortunate to have a wide range of resources and play items available at school for students to enjoy, and we encourage these to be used instead. If personal items are brought to school, students will need to understand that they do so at their own responsibility.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our school. We look forward to sharing a special morning with many of you this Friday.
Warm regards,
Pamela McKillop
