Principal`s Message
As we continue through this busy term, I want to take a moment to reflect on the progress we’ve made and share some important updates with you.
Curriculum Day
Please note that this coming Monday will be a pupil-free Curriculum Day. Staff will be working on assessment and preparing for the end-of-semester reports. We appreciate your understanding as we take this time to focus on our students' progress and achievements.
Public Holiday
Enjoy the public holiday on Tuesday! I hope everyone takes this opportunity to relax and recharge.
Upcoming Conference
Next week, Danielle and I will be attending the Australian Association of French-English Bilingual Schools (AAFEBS) conference. We are looking forward to networking with other educators and learning about best practices in bilingual education. This experience will help us enhance our programs and provide the best possible learning environment for our students.
Capital Works Projects
In the coming weeks, we will be welcoming portable classrooms to our campus. This addition will help accommodate our growing student body as we prepare for exciting changes ahead.
Construction on Napier Street is set to begin in the new year. We are working diligently to ensure that next year, all students will be on one campus. To facilitate this transition, we are developing a plan to stagger timetables, ensuring that every student has access to our play spaces throughout the day.
As we gear up for construction, we are also focused on the logistics of packing up our current facilities on Napier Street. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this transition period.
Upcoming Fete
I am excited about the upcoming fete! A heartfelt thank you to our organizing committee for their hard work and dedication. This event promises to be a wonderful opportunity to bring our whole community together and celebrate our school spirit.
Parent Contributions
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to those families who have already made their voluntary contributions. Your support is invaluable to our programs and initiatives. For families who may be experiencing financial hardship, please reach out to the school; we are here to assist you with educational needs.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we are building a bright future for our students.
