Kitchen Garden

Last week 4C finished their sessions in the garden. 

The activities included digging potatoes, bunching up silverbeet for everyone to take home, preparing the pumpkin patch, digging post holes for some new bench seating and decorating sone rocks to put throughout the garden. 

                          The cooking session will go ahead soon, date to be confirmed soon. 

Pots

If anyone has empty unwanted plastic garden pots we will use them in our Kitchen Garden program. Drop off to the office. 

Garden Produce 

The garden is quite plentiful right now. If anyone would like any lettuce, spring onions, herbs, silverbeet etc contact Allesha to organise a time to meet and harvest some produce. Small donation appreciated. Allesha.gardner@education.vic.gov.au

Home Gardens 

It’s time to get all of your spring/summer veggies in: 

Pumpkin, cucumber, capsicum, corn, tomatoes, chillies, zucchini, basil, beans and all year rounders like beetroot, lettuce, spring onions, carrots.
