SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
💙Shine Blue for SIDS💙
Last Thursday 7th November, we were kindly donated a mass amount of blue donuts from Sunbakers Bakery in Barwon Heads. Each student could bring in $4 to receive a temporary tattoo and a blue donut, with all funds raised going towards the River's Gift Foundation - Stamping out SIDS.
We are so proud of our community as we managed to raise $1,275.15 in support of this important cause. Thank you to each student who donated, and to the Social Service committee who distributed donuts in the morning. Also a huge thank you once again to Sunbakers Bakery for their generous donation!
🚦 School Crossing Supervisor - David's in the Paper!🚦
As many of our students and parents know, David is our crossing supervisor out the front of our school. Especially on such a busy street, we recognise the importance of our crossing supervisors and are very grateful for what they contribute to our community. It's fantastic to see David's hard work is also highlighted by the wider community of Geelong. Please have a read below!
🎤Concert Video Link🎤
We would again like to give an enormous thank you to everyone who attended the Chilwell School Concert on the last week of Term 3. And of course to Meegan Baker whom this would not have been possible without her mammoth effort in coordinating 7 year levels!!
What a success it was! If you enjoyed the night and would like to revisit our lovely little time travellers, please follow the link below to purchase a copy of the concert video.
Once you place your order, the video will be sent to the email address you provide. Please double-check that your email is spelt correctly, as any mistakes may prevent you from receiving the video.
Please enjoy our Grade 6's fantastic costumes from the night...
Anaphylaxis Reminder
We have quite a few children who are allergic to a range of products, especially ‘nut products'.
We ask for your support and co-operation in avoiding nut products in your child’s lunch box.
In this way we can minimise the risk to these children who suffer life-threatening reactions.
