Historic Buildings with Grade 5/6 Students

This term, our Grade 5/6 students have been exploring the historic architecture of Melbourne in the art room. Each student chose a building that inspired them and used carbon paper to trace intricate images, concentrating on the lines and shapes that define these structures. Once their outlines were complete, they added depth and detail using watercolour pencils to enhance their artwork with beautiful shading.
