World Teachers' Day
Today is World Teachers' Day when we celebrate our teachers at St Augustine's for their skilled work in educating, inspiring and supporting our young people.

VCE Exams
Next week, many of our Year 12 and some of our Year 11 students will commence their VCE written exams. We wish all students undertaking exams well in the coming weeks.
Arts and Design Technology Showcase Official Opening - Thursday 31st October
Don't forget the Official Opening of our 2024 Arts and Design Technology Showcase next Thursday, 31st October, in the Brigidine Centre beginning at 6.00pm.
This exhibition will showcase student work from Foundation to Year 12 and will include pieces that have been designed, manufactured and created in Visual Arts, Visual Communication Design, Media, Technology Wood and Metal, Food Technology and Performing Arts.
Our showcase will be opened by local artist Marion Langford. Marion has over two decades of experience as a talented artist working with oils and acrylics and more recently, ceramic and sculpture. We look forward to welcoming Marion to our College and hearing more about her career and art work.

Sunglasses Found
A pair of sunglasses was found in the Brigidine Centre after the Year 12 Celebration Assembly on Friday 18th October.

SOLE Stars
Congratulations to our SOLE Stars for Week 3.
St Augustine's Years 5-12 Writing Competition
It is that time of the year again for our annual St Augustine's Writing Competition!
This year's competition is open to students from Years 5 to 12. The prompt this year is "Sky above me. Earth below me. Fire within me. For I am, reborn."
You can submit any type of written text!
Some examples are...
- persuasive
- reflective
- narrative
- poetry
- a song you've written
Each student can enter once.
Entries will be judged by a mix of teachers and winners will receive a prize!
SUBMISSIONS CLOSE: Friday 22nd of November (Week 7). Submit your entry using this Google Form:
