Student Awards
Student Awards were presented at our Assembly on Friday November 1, 2024.
Foundation
- Jameson Giri (FBW) - ‘Be Your Best’ / ‘Help Others Succeed’ for your outstanding behaviour at the church and in assembly last week. Jameson, you were so respectful of those around you at both events. Keep up the great work!
- Hugo Skeen (FBW) - ‘Be Your Best’ for outstanding improvements in your handwriting. Hugo, you are now leaving spaces between words and sitting your letters beautifully on dotted third lines. You should be very proud of yourself. Well done!
- Quincy Hogan (FSC) - “Help Others Succeed/ Be Your Best”’ for sharing his strategies to quickly add 3 and 4 numbers in his head. Thank you for sharing ideas to help others work well in Maths.
Year 1 & 2
- Arianna Arendtsz (12MR) - ‘Be Your Best’ for giving 100% into everything that she does. Arianna, you always try your best, seek help where needed and are very thoughtful and caring of others.
- Molly Russell (12MR) - ‘Be Your Best’ for being a quiet and diligent class member, who always shows a readiness to learn and to improve.
- Violet Ager (12GM) - ‘Be Your Best’ for developing and refining your information report on Axolotl’s. Your comprehensive report was informative and engaging to read. Well done, Violet!
- Parker Witt (12GM) - ‘Be Responsible’ for making stronger choices in class to benefit your own learning. It has been brilliant to see you using feedback to improve your writing, demonstrating your working out to support your learning of fractions and raising your hand before speaking in class. Great job Parker!
- Asha Douglas (12NW) - ‘Be Your Best’ for always completing your schoolwork to a high standard. Asha, you have a terrific work ethic, love for learning and you always strive to be your best every day in our classroom. Well done.
- Millie Jensen (12NW) - ‘Be Your Best’ for your excellent presentation skills during our Readers Theatre productions. Millie, you read with expression and fluency when presenting your plays in front of others. Well done.
Year 3 & 4
- Cameron Kairns (34RP) - ‘Be Your Best’ for working on your spelling words daily and including these words in your writing. Keep up the fantastic work Cameron!
- Lila Trollope (34RP) - ‘Be Your Best’ for creating some amazing stories this semester. It has been wonderful seeing how you are working to include adjectives and lots of detail in your writing.
Year 5 & 6
- Taj Ager (5/6LB) - ‘Be Your Best’ for putting a lot of effort into his work during class time. Taj puts his hand up to answer questions and is always happy to read in front of the class. Well done, Taj!
- Dominic Thompson (5/6LB) - ‘Be Your Best’ for logging on his Kluwell reading consistently this year. Dominic is striving to get the best out of himself which is a great trait to have! Well done, Dominic!
- Katie Govett (5/6EN) - ‘Be Your Best’ for showing great interest in her learning and trying her best to improve and achieve. Katie, you should be proud of your persistence in maths and the initiative you show when faced with a challenge. Great work!
- Maxwell Kingdom (5/6EN) - ‘Be Your Best’ for the effort shown in the presentation of your work as well as the way you take time to self-correct and edit your writing tasks. Keep up the hard work Max!
- Amber Dreis (56TD) - ‘Be Your Best’ for writing a detailed procedural text on how to play netball. Amber, your instructions were easy to follow and you used clear and specific language. Great job.
- Seb Carmichael (56TD) - ‘Be Your Best’ for extending himself in maths and always striving to beat his personal best score in our weekly maths mates. Well done Seb.
