Exploring History Beyond the Classroom

On Tuesday, our Year 7 and 8 High Abilities Wider Knowledge (HAWK) students embarked on an immersive journey into history. Through a Virtual Reality Escape Room experience, they stepped back in time to tackle historical challenges, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The day continued with a teamwork scavenger hunt at Queen Victoria Market, fostering collaboration and exploration. Their adventure concluded with a mock trial at the Old Magistrates' Court, where students gained a hands-on understanding of legal history and courtroom dynamics.
