Room 7- Reception & Year 1
Did you know that in Room 7 we have been learning about factual descriptions?
We know that factual descriptions are an element of informative writing and are important to help give more information about a topic or subject. We have been using lots of describing words in our writing to make it more interesting. Here are some of our wonderful descriptions:
Did you know that Koalas have a cosy, warm pouch for their baby joeys?”
“Koalas have grey and yellow fluffy skin.”
“Koalas noses are rough and black and round.”
“Koalas have sharp and pointy claws which help them climb up eucalyptus trees.”
“‘ZZZZZ’ Did you notice that koalas sleep in the day?”
“I know that koalas have a round black nose and two eyes.”
“Did you know that koalas have pouches to keep their joeys safe?”
