WHEN DO I START APPLYING FOR COURSES?

VTAC is the organisation that handles all University applications for Victoria – as a Year 12 Student you do not apply directly to any of the Universities. From 29th July 2024 Year 12 students are able to create their individual VTAC accounts. VTAC also handles some TAFE and Private Provider applications. The School will support the Year 12 students to create their VTAC accounts and apply for Scholarships/SEAS (Special Entry Access Schemes).

www.vtac.edu.au

The USI is a unique identifier which keeps an online record of your education and training qualifications.

All Year 12 Students applying for courses through VTAC this year will need a USI to set up their Account.

If you have completed any vocational (VET) training  in the past, you probably already have a USI - Check here:

To Create a USI Visit:

Vocational Education and Training (VET)

VET is designed to teach you knowledge and specific practical skills to help you in the workplace. It's delivered in a number of ways – through schools, dual sector universities with VET courses, TAFE institutes, private registered training organisations and community colleges.

Work Experience with Parks Victoria

A week of work experience with our passionate staff at one of our parks across Victoria can provide high school students with a taste of what it's like to work for Parks Victoria. All work experience placements need to be negotiated directly with the local work centre or office and will be accepted at the discretion of the local Parks Victoria staff depending on their capacity to host students.
