Parrwang Performance Excursion

On Thursday the 16th of May year 10 drama students travelled to the city to attend Parrwang Lifts the Sky at the Malthouse Theatre. This production was an adaption of a creation story of the Wadawurrung Country. For many students it was their first experience with the form of Opera. Students gained valuable insight into different production elements and staging, that they can use in their own performances. Students also had a brief stop at ACMI and explored set and costume design, storyboarding for performance, as well as got to explore interactive sound making, and acting for film.
