We have many bi-lingual books that you might be interested in borrowing to share with your family. This is a very popular section in our library. Mrs Rogers and her class love borrowing books from this section.

I am so proud of achieving my goal to become a library leader in 2024. So far this term of being a library leader, I’ve enjoyed helping at the Book Fair and helping read the National Simultaneous Storytime book, ‘Bowerbird Blues’. It was so much fun and sometimes I feel like I’d rather spend some of lunch and play here in the library than outside on the playground. I can’t wait to help plan more this year!

During the past few weeks, I have experienced what a library leader does and how it feels like to be one. In the library we have done lots of fun things such as National Simultaneous Story time and wearing ‘a touch of blue’. This year we have a new theme for Book Week, which is, ‘Reading is Magic’. We are encouraging students to dress up in their favourite character from a book and bring the book or follow the theme. I love being a library leader as we learn how to use the 3 R’s and respect each other just like we are taught at school.
