Years 1/2 Ballarat Wildlife Park Excursion
On Friday the 17th of May grades 1/2CD, 1/2TT and 1/2VW went to on an excursion to the Ballarat Wildlife Park.
We had a great experience listening to the Wildlife Park staff presentations about the Meerkats, Penguins and Tigers. Hand feeding the free roaming kangaroos and wallabies was also a highlight.
The park also had a big population of koalas and wombats along with a tree kangaroo, emus, alpacas, Tasmanian Devils and even quokkas.
There was a fairly big reptile collection with the biggest crocodile named Crunch which everyone loved seeing.
A big thanks to all of our additional helpers including the staff Mrs Dodd, Ms Wuthrich, Mrs Baker, Anne, Ashlee, and parent/grandparent helpers Janie, Anna, Mark and Sarah for coming along and allowing us to explore the park in small groups.
Thank you again,
Mrs Tadd.
